Strength Fundamentals

  • Walter Baker Park 100 Charlie Rogers Place Ottawa, Ontario, K2V 1A2 Canada (map)

Strength Fundamentals is Larch House’s community strength series designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident with strength training. Beginner-friendly and adaptable to all levels, the focus is on learning how to move well, use equipment safely, and build strength at your own pace.

What to Expect

A coached, small-group session covering the fundamentals of strength training through practical exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and bodyweight. Our team will help with technique, positioning, and modifications throughout the session.

Who It’s For

Everyone is welcome — especially if you’re new to strength training, returning after time away, or simply want to improve your technique and confidence. Exercises can be adapted to different fitness levels and abilities.

What to Bring

Wear comfortable clothing and supportive athletic shoes. Bring water. We’ll provide the training equipment.

Free Community Event

There is no cost to participate. Space is limited to allow for more individual guidance, so advance registration is encouraged.
