Movement. Community. Connection.

Freya brings eight years of experience in the health and fitness industry, with a background spanning group coaching, personal training and workshops across Canada. Throughout her coaching career, she has worked with people of different abilities and experience levels, with a focus on making movement approachable, encouraging and adaptable to the individual.

Before joining Larch House, Freya also competed at the highest level of CrossFit. In 2022, she competed as an individual at the CrossFit Games, following years of training and competition that took her to events around the world. Her experience as a professional athlete shaped not only the way she approaches movement, but also her understanding of consistency, preparation, teamwork and the importance of meeting people where they are.

Her career in sport also extended beyond competition. Through coaching, workshops, partnerships, events and building her own personal brand, Freya developed a strong interest in the experiences that bring people together around movement and wellness.

At Larch House, Freya brings those worlds together as our Community Programs & Marketing Coordinator. She helps plan and coordinate community programs, workshops and events; supports the way those programs are communicated and promoted; and works with our clinical and movement team to create experiences that feel organized, thoughtful and welcoming from the first invitation through to participant follow-up.

Her work helps extend Larch House beyond the treatment room. Whether it is a Saturday movement program, a community workshop or an initiative designed for a particular stage of life, Freya helps turn an idea into an experience people can actually participate in and enjoy.

Freya is currently pursuing a degree in Event, Sport & Entertainment Management at Algonquin College, bringing formal study in events and sport management together with her years of practical experience in coaching and athletics.

At Larch House, Freya believes movement can be a way to build confidence, connection and community—not simply something we do for exercise.
